Does anyone own a BDI Casata 8629 tv stand?

Hi

I am possibly getting a panasonic 65'' V10 and was wondering if anyone ownes one of these tv stands BDI • Casata 8629-2 • Home Theater Cabinet

I need it to fit a B&W HTM61 centre speaker which is 20cm high x 55cm wide.
They seem quite expensive , about £1500.Does anyone know of a place selling them cheaper than this?
Are BDI a a good quality brand?

Thanks

Hi,

The centre speaker compartment is 70cm wide with a height of 20cm, so it should be perfect for your centre speaker, it may be worth double checking your height measurement though. The cabinet is known as a the BDI Cassini in the UK, take a look at our product page for the BDI Cassini 8629 for accurate internal measurements and a technical drawing.

BDI are one of the leading manufacturers of TV furniture, the quality of design and finish is as good as anything on the market, as for your other question please contact us directly.

Hope this helps you.

Hi Paul

Thanks for reply, i checked centre speaker height on their website 198mm so should be ok.
Looking on your website i have seen the BDI - Meriden 8127 & cirrus 8157, both look suitable for my needs but say up tp 60'' would they be ok with a 65'' plasma 1572mm wide.
Thanks

Hi,

The sizes BDI quote are just recommended, the important infomration is the top shelf weight capacity, BDI quote a maximum of 68kg on the Cirrus and 91kg on the Meriden.

Both cabinets are wider than your TV so you will not have any problems with the way it looks, check the weight of your TV it may be heavier than 68kg, the manufacturers do tend to be very conservative with the recommended weights however.

If you need any further info just let us know.
