I think you'll get mixed responses here!

As long as they are stable, well put together with little or no resonance between each part then i think you'll be ok...it'll come down to look and size as well as most people have to give careful consideration to where they can put all their kit/tv.

Glass disperses heat better than wood, but wood looks better IMO...depends on your other furnishings too!

Have a read in last month WhatHifi. THey had a 'stand' shootout and compared them all based on how they improved the sound of your system. According to THEM IS a difference..

But bearing in mind that in the same edition, they also reviewed budget HDMI cables and talked about "excellent base", "clear treble" and "bright colours", you can take all of this with a pinch of salt as ALL HDMI cables are the same!...

Given the combined weight of all my AV boxes I would think my AV stand is more likely to collapse than resonate.

Not sure if this post is too late but here goes
Does anyone know who manufactures the Demagio DML120 av Rack?
I reacently bought one and the led strips are missing so I'd like to contact the manufacturer to seek advice
