Support for center speaker on stand

I have a spectral stand which allows me to place my center speaker on one of the shelves on the stand.

The speaker is simply placed directly onto the glass shelf, however I am interested to know what I can do to isolate the speaker, as spikes are not an option due to the glass shelf, but more importantly as my center speaker does not have spike holes, like most center speakers.

I have a Linn Trikan center speaker and do not have the option of having a dedicated center speaker stand.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Support for center speaker on stand

I have my centre on an Auralex Mopad and it really does work a treat I only use one of the set of two mounts and sold the spare so it didn't cost too much overall.

Re: Support for center speaker on stand

Hi,

You can buy special isolation pads, alternatively as a budget option you can cut a couple of squash balls in half, doesn't look brilliant but it helps.

Re: Support for center speaker on stand

Thanks guys, sadly as we have to look at it esthestics are very important. Looks like some Vibrapods under the speaker are looking like the most elegant solution.
