Racks on spikes - safe for toddlers?

I'm about to go for a stand for an AV set up- thinking of an Atacama Equinox type (3 - 4 shelves). As most quality "perching" accessories feature, they have spikes as feet. I just wondered if this makes them ultra precarious were they to be bumped into by toddler for example?

Some of them can be very wobbly, you dont want hundres/thousands pounds worth of equipment to break do you?

The one we have is very wobbly, I mean, you'd need to knock it pretty damn hard for it to fall though.. so it might be ok, depends on how high it is..
