Pictures of Alphason Accent ACT1100BR

Hi folks

Does anyone have any photos of the Alphason Accent ACT1100BR in use.

I am particualrly interested to see if anyone has had succssess in installing their Amp/receiver in one of the enllosed sections.

I notice the posts from CloggyNL shows his amp on the open shelf, but i'd be interested inside the door'ed sections.

Bob

Re: Pictures of Alphason Accent ACT1100BR

Ive spent a while trying to get these same answers myself and from what I can gather the most limiting factor is the depth of the lower shelf.

If your amp is too deep you may need to cut into the back panel which is possible from what Ive been told. However if you are buying the cantilever as well as the stand this may get in the way since it extends all the way down the back and is 200m wide.

Ive tried to get hold of some exact dimensions of the lower shelf in order to try and work out if the cantilever would be a problem but Ive had no luck so far.

Incidentally my amp is the Denon 2307 which measures 434mm x 171mm x 417mm (WxHxD).

I should be assembling the stand tonight, so I'll just have to wait and see.

Re: Pictures of Alphason Accent ACT1100BR

OK dokey

The stand was super easy to assemble. Really well engineered in my opinion.

Cantilever is made of steel, with an appropriate vener on it, and extens all the way to the base level, giving a good feeling of secuirty.

Doors are very well finished, and although it will take a wee bit adjusting to get them to sit right, they are just standard kitchen-unit-type hinges.

My amp does fit in the unit, but I am probably going to have to do some work to get all the heavier cables in.

for example, my cambridge audio spdif coax, is a think cable that doesn't like to bend much so the amp could do with going back about another half inch.

Worst case, I'll trim a bigger hole in the back panel, or Ill use optical (!) that might have a better bend radius.

I'm happy to answer any questions, and if anyone wants specifc photos I'll see what I can don.

Re: Pictures of Alphason Accent ACT1100BR

Thanks for posting some more info, funnily enough I do have the odd question to ask!

As I said above Ive got my eye on this unit myself and the main stumbling block seems to be whether or not there is enough space (specifically depth) on the lower shelf for my amp. Id be interested to know what the dimensions of your amp are?

And also since you have the cantilever fitted, how much space is there between this and the inside edge of the lower shelf??

Basically any information you can give me about the lower shelf would be great, dimensions, pictures .. anything!
