Cabinet cooling - fan/vent placement?

Going to sort my cabinet cooling out so that I can keep the doors shut. Up to now I have had the back panel off, and kept the doors open whenever in use.

I have a temperature controller and a pair of 120mm Xilence Red Wing fans.

I'll use the relay contact on the controller to cut the fans in/out.

First question, what sort of cabinet temperature should I aim for? Something like 25'C? I don't want them to run more than they have to.

Secondly, I'm a little unsure what would be best placement wise.

Here is a picture of my kit (sorry about the mess, just grabbed a quick shot):

Now, I'll be putting the back panel on, but the amplifier's connections do come out the back of the cabinet, so this part will have to be cut out. Also, the cabinet once shut is not air tight, so air can be drawn in from the gaps between the doors.

Should I use both fans as exhaust at the top, allowing air to be pulled in from behind the amp and through the front door gaps, or should I place one down behind the 360 and use this as an intake fan?

Secondly, will this setup likely cause hotspots without me drilling holes in the shelves, to allow airflow?

Once my HTPC is built I will be putting this in the cabinet also, (where the random DVD's & games are at the mo), and so would be moving the shelf down a bit. So potentially there will be quite a lot of heat generation and I want to be sure I'm doing the right thing with fan placement!

Hope someone can help

Oh and ignore the rad, this is off, and will soon be relocated so that the Tv can be wall mounted.

Well that went down like a lead baloon, lol!!

I think I'll try it with one fan as an intake bottom right, and the other exhausting top left, and cut holes in the shelves/dividers to aid ariflow.

If it doesn't seem to be doing the trick I'll have to try something else!

I have the same cabinet (ikea) and the same problem except mine is wall mounted. My cabinet now has more holes than swiss chesse.
