I need to store my dvd's in boxes for a while - ideas for safe but cheap storage?

Hi guys
I'm looking to move shortly, but have about 600 dvd's that I'll to put into storage. I'm hoping to chuck them in my sister's loft, but am concerned that if I leave them in cardbord boxes for a year or so the cold may do them damage. Does anyone know of the best way to store them? As cheaply as possible really. Is it worth using cardboard boxes but put them within a bin lilner inside them, or will they need something air tight?

Many thanks

I don't think that DVDs are that vulnerable. They are used all over the world in all climatic conditions.
I would quite happily store them in a cardboard box/boxes and forget about them until you need them again.

Good Luck,

KH

Or go to your local shop/Tesco express/Off licence and ask for some free cardboard boxes!
