Denon 2309 Auto Set Up 5.1

Setting up the Denon 2309 with EQ Auto set up it does not give an option for 5.1 Only, either 7.1 or 5.1 with Zone 2. I have set it up with 7.1 and of course the back speakers are not connected. Should I really have done the set up as 5.1 plus Zone 2 ??

Just watched Polar Express and it was brilliant. Though there seem to be so many settings I am a little lost to know if I am getting the best from it , especially the PV1 Sub woofer , has settings on it I have no idea about and the instruction manual is woeful
