Hi there,

I'm looking for a new AV Amp & speaker system, my budget is around £800. But having owned a combined Hifi type of system previously (Sony) I am not sure on what is best.

What is important to me is to have something that will suit general music playing and Surround for AV applications and viewings.

I understand that different amps are suited to either music or AV, but I'd appreciate if anyone can reommend a good middle ground AV amp suitable for both music/av. I would also appreciate recommendation on speakers to complement any amp.


A speaker and amp I have seen fair reviews for are below, does anyone own either both or part of this setup, and could offer their kind thoughts - or alternativley any other suggestions??

Both of these systems will go very well together. I dont have this specific kit however if you have a read of the owners thread you'll find many people with different setups regarding speakers mostly with postive reviews.
