Sony syr db1080 or yamaha rx v2400

I,m new to this as you can see and need some advice. Witch two of these two amps is better Yamaha RX V2400 or sony str db1080

The 2400 by a huge margin!

I'm not basing that on price, but for the record, the 1080 was about £400 7/8 years ago, and the Yamaha was £1200 about 5 years ago. The Yamaha will drive better speakers giving you more choice.
