Connecting Wii to my AV Reciever

Got a Marantz SR4200 and a Wii which i have plugged into VCR1 with the red/white/yellow composite cables.

I have got an S-Video cable plugged into "Monitor Out" and that then goes to the TV but i am only getting sound on my VCR channel and not any picture.

Any ideas?

Andy

At a guess, it doesn't convert composite inputs to svideo output. You will need a composite cable from the amp to your display. Alternatively, connect the video (yellow lead) straight to your display, leaving the audio going to your amp.

Even better if you have component inputs on your display, get a wii component cable and connect the component video straight to display and audio to amp.

I split the cable and plugged it straight into the TV so the video goes through that and the sound through the amp.
