Denon 1909

Hi,
Ive just bought a samsung series 7 40'' TV, Samsung 1500 blu ray player and a Denon 1909 av reciever. Ive connected it all up but one thing is really bothering me...
I thought that when using the AV unit to select a source it would automatically turn the other unit on. e.g if i select DVD player it would turn my blu ray on, my TV and select the right setting on the unit... Am i missing something here or do I need to change settings on something?

Thanks
Phill

No that is not the case. You have to switch on the TV or DVD first and then select the appropriate device on the 1909 remote.

You might want to check out this link, it has everything you need to know about the 1909. CLICKY
