Im after a very specific amp...

Hi all,

Im just wondering if anyone can help me in my quest to find a receiver that has HDMI and componant input, not too bigger a task i hear you cry. It must also have a subwoofer output channel like a normal speaker channel.
IE the amp can power a non active subwoofer. I have a one off custom built woofer in a stunning box that i would like to use but cant find any amps that will do all of the above.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi, I think a mono power amp connected to the SW out phono of the Amp/Avr of your choice,is probably the only option open to you.........

Re: Im after a very specific amp...

Agreed.

There is nothing that will power a subwoofer. You will need to buy a cheap pro audio PA amp to power the sub fed from the line level subwoofer output of an AVR receiver.

Any sub that could be powered by the power a receiver could output, wouldn't actually be much of a sub.
