receiver recommendation please....

Hi all, after recommendations on a reciever/amplifier for my new set up.
I have just bought 7.1 monitor audio bronze speakers made up of 2 br6s,4 brfxs,1 brlcr and 1 velodyne subwoofer.

I have a budget of up to £1500,naturally would rather spend less, want loads of hdmi's inputs,up conversion to all hdmi,my use is 95% movie and 5% music.

usual other bells and whistles....all ideas greatfully received...

Seeing as the Arcam AVR-350 doesn't provide HDMI upconversion, you're pretty much left with the Denon AVR-4306. This will do pretty much everything, it just lacks a bit on music which isn't a major priority for you. It'll have as many HDMI's as you're likely to get for the money, optional I-pod dock, internet radio and stuff. All for about £1200 too.

The Denon is normally £1495, but you'll get it cheaper as most places will do it for £1200/1300 anyway. So it's the same price technically. The Arcam's simpler and more music based with better quality amplification, whereas the Denon is more bells and whistles, but still a good all rounder.
