Pioneer VSX-920-K broken-- advice please?

I bought the VSX-920-K 1.5 years ago. Couple of weeks ago, it shutdown while playing TV from a Freeview box. I tried troubleshooting from the manual, but seems like a hardware failure.

It will cost me at least 80 pounds to fix it plus cost of parts. I wondering if I should get it fixed or just buy a new one for 200 pounds.

I know very little about receivers and durability. wondering if anyone can share thoughts and provide some advice.

I am not sure you you will get the same level of receiver for £200 as the 920. What receivers have you been looking at?
What speakers do you have?

I have q acoustics 1000 speaker package.
Richer has couple of receivers under 200. Like RXV371 or Onkyo 309. These might be downgrade from what I have, but seemed reasonable.

They are both bottom of the range receivers and I feel you will notice the drop in sound quality from your current receiver. I would at least be looking at the Sony 820 as a more suitable option.
