Ive just bought a Sony STR DH100 Amp receiver. Its a 2x 100w power output. The speakers im lookingat to go with it are the Sony SS-B1000. They have a maximum power output of 120w. Its for my living room which is quite small so i dont need massive floorstanders. Im replacing my old technics 2x22w hifi..

So, will these two work well together for music and movies etc? Any help would be great.

Great question. Any responses would be most welcome as this is an option I'm considering due to budgetary constraints (hopefully temporary)

Just try the speakers you already have then buy new ones. Works for me

My old Sony DB-1070's headphone socket has packed in so I was looking around and this STR-DH100 looks a nice bit of kit -but no optical/co-ax in from what I can tell.
