Receiver on a budget!!

Hi

I'm just starting to look for a receiver for my home setup and I was wondering what would you recommend for under £200. Should I go for a new receiver like the Denon 1603, or should I wait for an older second hand one to become available.

Many thanks in advance

Nathan

The Denon 1803 should be available for not much more than £200, and is a stormer at the price.

Many thanks for your replies....

I have been thjinking of extending the budget a little and perhaps going for the Onkyo tx-sr501e. This has switchable component inputs. Is this Receiver any good?

Many Thanks

Nathan
