Asus PCI-E sound card

I have a Asus D2-X Sound Card, Unfortunatly due to its size, it obscures one of my DDR-2 memory sockets, meaning I cannot put my memory into Dual Channel Mode.
So what I need is either a PCI-E extender or a DDR-2 Extender (low profile), to place my memory or sound card(prefferably) somewhere else in the case. Any suggestions (would like dual channel though).

Re: Asus PCI-E sound card

Afraid DDR-2 cannot be extended this way and the only kind of PCI express extender I've seen is a right angle one for use in industrial PCs.

Re: Asus PCI-E sound card

can you not just use socket 2 and 4 instead or 1 and 3 ? Thats what I had to do when I swapped to the Asus HDAV 1.3a card
