Finally bitten the bullet

[FONT="Tahoma"]Hey Guys,

Well I have finally got a proper processor for my Parasound A52.

Replaced my Yamaha A5 that was doing the processing and got hold of a Rotel 1068 and all I can say is wow.

What a difference. So that's what it's supposed to sound like!!!

The difference in even the sub is amazing, night and day.

Very pleased, which I had done it before.

Re: Finally bitten the bullet

Glad to hear you're pleased. It is really true that a good Pre/Pro will make a huge difference to the quality of sound you get. This is immediately obvious on music, but also really there on HT, where the detail of the sound is far less forced, and the overall ambience far more natural. Of course, if all you want is explosions and gunfire, the normal suspects in receivers will do a pretty good job.
