worth upgrading from a rotel RB976 to RB985

I have a RB976 6 channel amp.

I'm currently upgrading my Yamaha processor to an old Lexicon

It will power M&K 3xK17 and 2xK4 for Movies only.

The bass xover will be 120hz the speakers are all 4 ohm.

Would it be woth upgrading to a a THX approved RB985, which would also be older than my current amp.
