Hi,

I have recently purchased a second hand rotel RMB-1075 av power amp. It has 5 lights on the front that according to the manual should only come on if there is a problem with one of the channels of amplification.

However, a few of them appear to come on everytime i turn the amp off. They stay on for less than a minute then go out. I haven't actually bothered as yet to see if its the same lights each time or not.

Is this normal, or do i have a faulty poweramp?

Cheers, i also checked this out with the dealer, who confirmed it was normal

do they come on in like a "timed" pattern - mine do on my RB-985MKII

interestingly when I had it - another RB-985MK II (I did have two) - on switch off - they both lit up the leds in a different pattern/order
