I need some power transistors as my amp has blown it's right channel. I can find my transistir guide for the life of me. Two types in there labeled A1294 & C3855. Threy seem to be made by SK? Any ideas where i could source some or an equivalent? Thanks

Re: part required

Is that the entire code from the transistor? They are probably some hard to find Japanese transistors, but if you can get hold of some data on them, it is very likely that an equivalent could be subsituted. Could you post a photo (or PM me) and I'll see if I can help.

Which Amp is it? Are you sure that it is the actual output transistors which are blown. (have you checked if they are s/c or o/c etc)

Laters

Nick

Re: part required

SK would likely be Sanken,a well known japanese semiconductor manufacturer.

The partial number given may also correspond to this transistor.

Re: part required

Looks like i've found them

http://www.signalsuk.com/Signalsuk.n...ePage?OpenForm

The A1491 one looks like it has been replaced with the wrong part-lower power rating.
