has anyone heard of this american brand ?
some well spec'd and good value products that are US designed but china built.just wondered if anyone has listened to any of their gear.

I have the XPA-5 5x200W amp. Well recommended. See my other post on this site. Excellent value and sound quality.

I think you will struggle to find any consumer electronics that are not built in China (or Taiwan) these days ..its just that some manufacturers actually proudly declare that they are designed elsewhere

Emotiva is a side business of a very major OEM manufacturer. They make very nice gear, especially for the price.

I still own several of their pieces. Works on 220 without a problem. Newer gear is auto-sensing.

Have been waiting for their UMC-1 processor for a while now. Not in a major rush to upgrade my E800 workhorse so will probably continue waiting.

Even with customs and delivery factored in from the US, this processor still looks (on paper at least) far better specced than anything else here in Europe, and will probably be compared with the Onkyo 886 which costs an awful lot more.
