Easy Bi-Amping Question

I am currently listening to a Rotel RCD-991, RC-971 through 2 RCD-971 MKII's.
Presently the amps are running one speaker each but is it not better to let one amp do the low and one amp do the hi frequencys?
If the later how am I able to find a diagram on setting it up?

Cheers........

Mike.........

Don't think you need a diagram (if you want to try it)......

Left pre output to left input of both amps, right pre output to right input of both amps
(amps in stereo mode, you'll need splitter cables/adapters).

L & R outputs from 1 amp to L & R LS bass section
L & R outputs from other amp to L & R LS mid/top section.
