i owned the tae/n combo and now have the da9000es, more features, more power, less warmth, and quite a lot of more control.. I'd say that it depends on your speaker setup which you choose, the combo is nicer with drier speakers... the integrated is nicer with warmer speakers... I'd choose the integrated to be honest.

I also have a DA9000ES, and can hardly recommend it highly enough. Even my wife thinks it's great. That's saying something. (I used to use a Denon AVC-A1D, and always compare AV amps with stereo amps.) There is a very positive review of the smaller brother DA7100ES in Home Cinema Choice this month, which will give you a good idea. Shout if you want a soft copy.

From what I can tell, the integrated is significantly better than the separates. You can get a lot of good opinions on agoraquest.com, or you could try dropping bizzibee a line - he has had both.

If anyone is considering getting a DA9000ES, I believe that AN Audio in St Neots have the last remaining new one in the country. About £1500, I think. Bargain.

This unit was sold a while ago, and they were around a thousand pounds
