In overall loudness terms, the difference between the 2 amps into any given set of speakers amounts to about 2dB,so you may not even notice that in real terms.

As for sound quality,my own preference would be the Parasound for it's smoother overall quality, although the Rotel is still a very decent amp.

Both are very well made, and reliable...if you get the chance to try both, with your own system, you should,as this may well be the easiest way to decide.

Thats difficult...relying on other people's opnions is never a simple choice...both amps will have no problems with 4 ohm loads, and it's really then a matter of which may sound best with your speakers.

The Rotel has a more dynamic, but less smooth sound,to my ears anyway, hence my overall preference for the Parasound.
If you HAVE to buy this way,try and get as many opinions as possible.

If it's a UK spec amp,then yes.

US spec

A US spec amp can be used in UK but ONLY if you use a transformer to step down the mains voltage from 230V to 110V.

Not in the case of Parasound.

You can get a 110V Parasound AMP to 230V with a very simple transformation that Parasound will explain to you... (Have to open the case evidently).
