Just seen this on the CSE Solutions website its priced at £2000, just wondering has anyone got one? because I am considering a this or a second hand Lexicon MC1, which is much cheaper, which would make a worthwhile an improvement on My Onkyo 898THX Amp and Parasound 1205A Power Amp, which I just recently got, and is truly amazing!!

The MC1 is a good processor, but is it just for films or music too?

That will make a big difference, the Meridian is a good partner to Parasound amplification, and there have been some silly prices on the 568 units.

Just interested to see what "HDMI Ready Architecture" actually means!

Looks interesting.

It says that an HDMI input/output board is an option, so that will be what the "HDMI Ready Architecture" bit means.

I prefered the Halo C2 over the MC1 but prefered the Lexicon MC8 over the C2, however I ended up selling the MC8 and getting another 568.2, pain in the arse for video switching but I just wanted the sound quality in the end.
I wouldn't expect the new Parasound to be as good as the Halo range, so I would think you could get far better for your money, unless you have to buy new?

There have been used Meridian 568 units going for £1200, combine that with a Zektor compoent switcher for £300 and for £1500 you have a fantaic set up which is completely seemless in operation.
