Which 2nd-hand stereo power amp to use with Denon 3310?

I currently have a Denon 3310 AV receiver and MA RS8 speakers as part of a 5.1 system. I have a Marantz CD52 which is no longer working, and will soon be getting an upgraded Marantz CD63 mkII KI.

I would like to buy a 2nd-hand stereo power amplifier to improve the stereo quality of my system. My budget is up to £500. Any suggestions as to what are good 2nd-hand power amps to buy?

Thanks!!

Thanks for the reply!

The Dussun has been sold.
Anyone know if the Arcam P35 is a good amp?

Re: Which 2nd-hand stereo power amp to use with Denon 3310?

I have been doing some searching and have come across the following amps:

Meridian 556
Arcam P35
Arcam Delta 290p
Marantz SM 80
Arcam FMJ A38 (used to power the left and right speakers from the Denon, and a CD player directly connected to it)
Arcam FMJ P1 monoblock pair

I know the last two amps are over budget but I would consider them if they are as good as their price might indicate.

Any ideas on these (or other) amps?

Cheers!

Just a thought, if you want to improve on stereo playback you might want to keep two channel stuff out of the receiver. This means getting an integrated rather than a power amp.

That makes sense. But how would you connect the 2 front speakers to both the receiver and integrated amp?

Why does nobody ever mention Quad? I think they are as good as any for that price level

May I recommend a second hand Quad 909? I have one firing my MA gs20s, and it sings
