Rote RSP 1068 Surround Sound Processor

On Wednesday night we had a power surge and the fuse inside the processor blew.

I replaced the fuse but the processor is not outputting any sound to the power amps. The power amps work as i connected an ipod directly.

It seems to be working to some extent as it switches on and detects sources i.e. picks up dolby digital from a DVD.

The processor was on at the time of the power surge but i dont know enough about electronics to know what happens if you have a power surge.

Does anybody know what could fix this? The processor is older than 5 years so no warranty left.
