Thanks NX3, I have been to the BMW site but it only features the films in a low resolution. I am searching for the 1280x720 (?) resolution versions that are featured on the "Shadows of Motown" DVD and on a Windows XP demo DVD given out in the USA.

BR,
Olaiho

I think so, although I can't be certain - I will go check it out. Thanks for the headsup :smashin:

These films are available in Windows media player 9 HD format on the second disc of the Region 1 version of Standing in the Shadows of Motown. I saw some of this documentary at the Manchester Home Entertainment show last weekend and it was very good. The sound is great in DTS.

You can order it from Amazon.com for just under $20 inc delivery.

I bought the Motown disc and the bad news is that the BMW films are not in the Windows high resolution format. The good news is that you can watch them unlike the main feature which you can't watch outside the US and Canada. It looks like the Windows Media Player Digital Rights Management is checking where my ISP is. Does anyone know how to get around this block?

P.S. Windows High Resolution is not High Definition its 1024*576.

Practically impossible to circumvent Windows DRM now that they've blocked all proxy servers :(

The BMW shorts in HD are 720p (if one could actually play 'em :)).

Is it possible to get these BMWFilms in HD anymore? The Microsoft "Do Amazing Things!" with Windows XP DVD I received recently does not have any of the hi-def content on it that original or earlier stampings of the DVD did apparently. What a bummer!
