Saw this at CPCs for less than £20, so I thought I'd try it:

I have the receiver on top of a speaker near my projector screen, and the extender behind the seating. It works 2 different DVD players, my amp and even the remote dimmer switch. :)
To eliminate the need to have to run a bit of flex and a socket to the seating area to plug the extender in, I placed the extender on my equipment cabinet, and used a small mirror against the seats to bounce the signal off of. This works well, except for one DVD player.
Fortunately, the device also has another tiny remote sender on the end of a length of wire, so i plugged that in and dangled it by the player. Now everything works, and I don't have any unnecessary cable runs. :grin:
