Right all you film enthusiasts. I have a film for you to identify.
I watched a film several years ago on channel 4 (I think). It is about a bloke stuck in the city (in america) at night. He spends some time in a late night cafe, he then gets involved with a prostitute and I think she gets killed some how. He then roams the streets that are full of weirdos and all he wants is to go home and sleep. It ends with dawn breaking and another new day.
Can any of you help? It really is bugging me, please help me.

Sounds like Martin Scorsese's After Hours to me :)

It's one of my favourite films of all time, but sadly it's not available on DVD yet :(

That’s a Sci-Fi story with lots of blokes in long black coats, and I think the guy of Crystal Maze is in it.

You're very welcome, nice to see others with an interest in this fabulous movie.
If you want to see it released on DVD, you could do worse than add your e-mail address to the 'After Hours' Amazon page:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00003CX8R/qid=1063404998/sr=8-14/ref=sr_8_14/103-1849491-2247862?v=glance&s=dvd&n=507846
They use these to lobby the studios for releases :smoke:
There was a rumour it would be included in a Scorsese boxset along with the Goodfellas SE, but it's not materialised :suicide:

Will do! It's one from my teen days, I remember watching it on a 4" B&W TV/Radio/Cassette Recorder. Those were the days!
Cheers
