Cool right tripod

i've just brought an Cannon Xl1s, and i'm trying to start making my own wildlife films. i am unsure what the best tripod is to get. i was wondering if anybody knew how reliable electronic heads are, on tripods. i saw a sony one, but i'm taking it to india, and if it broke down i'd be in lot of trouble! i would really appreciate any help.

Alex- you'll be best going for one by the likes of Manfrotto or Velbon. I bought one of jessops own branded ones, and it does me, but condidering your situation, ones like
this one
or one like this

It depends how much you were wanting to spend on one i spose
