Cable Woes...

I currently have this cd bus cable:

but need to change the plug to this cable(blue ISO->10pin ISO):

will it fit if I just snip the wire and insert it into the new 10 ping plug or is it a completely different or can I get an adaptor?

errm. depends on the make of the changer. looks like blaupunkt plugs though. most blaupunkts came with the adapter in the retail box.. citreon also did the adapter plugs. so a bit more info on what you have would be nice; )

the top one is a bus lead for a philips RC026 cd changer. The changer came with the bus lead with the blue 8 pin connector at the end, however it needs to go into the 10 pin ISO socket on my citroen philips radio cassette(449/64s or soemthing like that).
Instead of buying a whole new lead I was just seeing whether there was a convertor or if I could just snip the wire and insert them into an 10 pin block?
