In car Multi region ?

Hi I am about to fit a widescreen dvd player in my car,not sure which brand yet but i'am lookin at Alpine Sony and Panasonic.
do you know if they can be made to play all regions like home players because 3/4 of my dvd's are reg 1

err no idea on the proper brands.. but my bro got a dvd 2 screen off ebay for 350 quid.. (650 cheaper than alpines dvd alone heh)
this playes mp3 and multiregion. the quality is no alpine.. but it works..
