Good price.

I'm a cheapskate so mine's on order from DVD Soon - CAN$ 17.98 with free s&h. It'll take a couple of weeks, but I can stand the wait!

Jase you little softy

Nice to see it finally being released on DVD though! I can now put the tired and worn out VHS tape to rest
Not sure who I should order it from though as DVD Soon may be cheap but I've had The Goonies on order since the 17th July

I've never had a problem with them, but I've always pre-ordered. In fact I can't remember the last time I've ordered any disc that's already been released!

If you want to be picky I should have said "It could take a couple of weeks, but I can stand the wait!"

I agree though, they do normally take around 5 days, but someone else would have said otherwise had I said so. Such is the nature of the internet

Only those people that moan if they don't get their DVDs 10 minutes after they've ordered

This free shipping is great at the moment - wonder how much longer it will last

I shall be interest in that too. In fact I'll be interested to see how long shipping takes under the free shipping offer, I think most of the R1 discs I've received of late were ordered ahead of it's introduction. Got a few lined up for the next couple of months though.

I've had quite a few through under free shipping and they were all airmail, so 5 days-ish DVDSoon said on another forum that they don't use surface mail anymore.

Goonies on order for 3 weeks now! It would be nice if they had a facility to say whether or not a disc was in stock or not before an order was placed, don't mind waiting if I'm informed prior to placing an order

I remember this film sounding very good in Pro logic in VHS.

I am not sure, but I don't remember Casper having a Dolby EX track on cinema release and notice that it has EX on the DVD specs on the Play.com web site so it may have new remixed DD track if this is the case.

Look foward to the dvd.
