Depends on whether you whant one of the best dts soundtracks around!!???
You can probably get cheaper if you import(as long as you dont get stung for import!!)

It will not be that much cheaper... check out www.cdjapan.co.jp or amazon.co.jp as they have a budget slow shipping method!

The only difference is the DTS track .. so its up to you how important that is!

Cheers

Matt

I'd leave it mate, the platinum release has a cracking DD soundtrack as it is and I can't see a dts soundtrack warranting that much of cost. :smoke:

Or better still, a superbit? ;)

I don't think there will be a superbit release of Blade as it is a New Line/EIV catalogue title. Only Columbia Tristar release superbits and the only reason Jurassic Park(Universal) is getting a superbit release in Japan is that Columbia have the Japanese rights

www.cdjapan.co.jp are cheap enough if you choose the air mail option which takes 10 days for most titles.

Movietyme also have Blade at £26.00 which is about the price they go second hand on the forums.

That's true Phil, it's a shame. Another Universal title I've noticed becoming a superbit is Gladiator (R2). I wish all DVDs were superbits, and that there was a second dedicated disc for the bonus features.
