tilting wall brackets

Hi there,
About to take plunge & go for PMA400 screen to work with NTL & DVD.
Worrying about the practical aspect of where to hang it.

Lounge = 23" x 13". We think above fireplace would be too high (although clearly others are happy from the threads I've read).
Looks likely to be middle of wall to right of fireplace.
To view from the sofa left of the fireplace will be too much of an angle, even given the 160 degree viewing angle.
The 25" CRT we currently have is in the right corner pointing to the far corner of the room for viewing all-round.

Has anyone use a 'swing-out' bracket (such as http://www.unicol.co.uk/swingwallmount.html) & is this effective ?
Any other options ?
We'd like to usually have the screen flat but to have the ability to swing it out.
Alternatively, does anyone use a regular 'flat bracket' but 'pad out' one side (with 1-2" timber) to angle the screen to one side ?

Perhaps we should just get a 'table stand' & use a table, but that detracts from the 'wow' factor of the big screen on the wall !

It does a great job.
you can swing it out into the room for viewing
and then push it back flush against the wall when finished.
it also has a tilt facility.

just slightly more dosh than the unicol
but well made.

I have one and therefore this is a genuine product recomendation.

Interesting. Whereabouts can it be bought (clearly it is a european company) & any idea what the cost was ?

Pictures would be of interest if you have them. What sort of height did you install to ?

The beauty of this bracket is its ability to be swung out into the room and postioned so its facing the viewer.
As you can see i had a angle L cove nearby and didnt want the plazy flush to the wall.
when not in use i just push it back against the wall as in photo.
if i had fitted centre speaker slightly lower then the bracket could quite easily be positioned more central in the room.
That demonstrates the reach of the bracket.
