Has anyone seen any release dates for the R2 version of this, or should I plump for the R1 widescreen DTS version. The extras on the R1 don't look too juicy, probably because of the DTS soundtrack.
Or, is it pap, and I shouldn't bother buying it all?

According to Empire, the rental version is out sometime in August, no mention of retail. Buy the R1.
I would just get it now to be honest. The R2 release may or may not feature a DTS track and probably will not feature any more extras than the R1 release so why wait?. And the film itself isn't bad at all!
