My wife has a Skoda Fabia.

At the moment it has the tape deck head unit in it. She wants CD.

However, she doesn't want say a Panasonic head unit/changer, she'd much prefer the Skoda head unit, but without paying the high price from dealers. The changer can be any compatible unit plonked in the boot.

Does anyone know where she can buy new but cheap/2nd hand/refurbished 'Skoda' head units from with the cd option on it?

Thanks.

Try a breakers yard or they may be the same as VW H/U gives more choice like!

MS 402.

The 502 is the one compatible with a cd changer.

Hi Guy, have Emailed a friend who deals with OEM stuff to check on availability and price on a MS502.

The MS502 will still require an interface to allow and aftermarket changer.

That would be excellent Mark. Dealer prices are ridiculous.

As I understand it, a cable (interface) is what's needed with the correct termination on to allow a multi changer to plug into it.

Thanks for your help. Appreciated.

Is it a changer system or would a indash CD/Radio be OK.

Just to confirm the dash lights up green on the Fabia not blue like other VAG cars.
