Can anyone verify that this disk does contain a DTS ES soundtrack?
I was assured by the retailer that it did - most websites advertise this fact. Unfortunately the box only indicates DTS & a quick trial confirms this - no ES.
Also, it should be 2 discs. Mine is a double sided disc - Region 1. Does anyone have ES & two discs?
Since you're asking, it's a great film.

As far as I can tell The Pianist in r1 is DTS 5.1 surround.
Check out the backcover for this release :

Amazon.com actually list it as DTS ES. cd-wow confirmed this. Also, electrictown review suggested it has ES.
so does anyone know if the Canadian disc is also ES?
I don't have the equipment anyway so might just go for the canadian as it has more extras.
No mention of ES on My Canadian copy

I didn't think the soundtrack was that phenomenal. but if it's only 3quid more than the 2DVDset I'l get it.

I received the 1 disc version from CD-Wow, though it was sold as 2 disc. I emailed them and they replied PDQ saying that was all they had, offered a refund and would amend the website (which they have). Good service from CD-Wow as always.
