online gaming problems

Hi Folks,

Hope you can help.

I moved house a few months ago and ever since my connection is terrible!

I'm on the 20meg service and i'm through a wired router between my ps3 and lapop and have been so for around a year now.

I play alot of online games on the ps3 before with no problems but now when i play fifa i get kicked out of the game and then i get disconnected from my ps3 all together. I can't play with a direct connection at the minute becasue i'm redecorating and of the logistics but i'm sure it's not the router at fault because as i said this was never a problem before.
It also reconnects after a minute or two!!!!

BTW - I only went wirelss over the last week or so and i've also connected the ps3 direct to the modem and still the same problem!!!

Also my speeds are all over the place. sometimes 15mb then other 3mb!!!!

Any suggestions???

sounds like an unstable VM line. this could be due to poor signal strength.
