Question Cable question?
What is the mains cable reccomended as a budget option for surrounds? I have some 24 amp 2.5mm twin & earth but it seems mighty huge for such a task?

Maybe try 1.5mm twin + earth instead?

Why not just get some cheap speaker cable from maplins.

Twin and Earth generally refers to solid core ... flex is what you want ... and you only need 2 core ... and 1.5mm2 will be fine.

Alternatively B&Q [Edit B&W!! I fink Vikki needs new typing paws, Steph] do 25m of 79strand cable for £10 which is fine for the money (I use it for rear cabling) ... or look at Richer Sounds range.
