samsung HDCP skyhd help

i have a SAMSUNG LE32R87BDX/xeu tv
i want to get sky hd but i have read that you need an HDCP enabled tv to be able to watch some of the content.
anyway i am unsure if my tv is hdcp enabled i have searched the net for answers and some sites say it is and some sites say it isnt.
could anyone help me find out for sure if it is or not?

Re: samsung HDCP skyhd help

Your TV has three HDMI inputs. All HDMI inputs have to be HDCP enabled - it's part of the specification.

Re: samsung HDCP skyhd help

Near impossible nowadays to get a non-HDCP enabled HDMI socket. I have the 37" version, rest assured it will work.

Re: samsung HDCP skyhd help

I have a similar problem. I just had Sky HD installed as I bought a Samsung HD ready tv three years ago. The model is the Samsung LE37R74BD. It has a HDMI input. When SKY HD is connected using the HDMI socket it displays for all of three seconds before I get a HDCP message. No amount of calling Samsung or Sky has resolved this with each blaming the other. My tv has no USB connection so I cannot upgrade the software. Is there any way of getting past the HDCP without buying a new TV?!?!
