Linux and Wireless Cards

Ladies/Gents:

I'm looking at running Linux on my laptop, maybe along side XP maybe not. I want to try and get my PCMCIA Wireless card working first, can I?

It is a Belkin Wireless G Notebook Card, Model no. F5D7010 ( can't find it on the Belkin website!). I know that Linux is happy with using some specific brands/makes but can you get others to work without too much trouble?

I haven't specified what make of Linux I want to use as I don't know what would work best, I've got a Knoppix disc which I can use not a problem but before I install Linux to duel boot I'd like to know if there's a 'advisable' type to use.

Cheers!
