New LCD 1080p

Hi,

I currently have a HD Ready 32" Samsung (cant remember the model at the moment) but I'm not sure if it is 1080p or not? It has 1 hdmi socket and was bought 2 years ago.

I am currently looking for a second HD TV for upstairs but if my current one isn't exactly up to spec with the current ones on the market I will be moving that one upstairs and buying a new one for the main room.

If my current tv isn't 1080p, does the quality in picture make much difference for things like Sky HD and playstation3?

I'm no expert at all on this so help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

My budget is up to a grand and I think anything bigger than 37" would probably be too big.

So if my current tv is not 1080p, does that mean I'm not getting the optimum picture quality from my PS3 and sky hd when i get that?

(By the way I'm not even sure if PS3 and Sky HD output 1080p)

Re: New LCD 1080p

Anything lower than 50" and you're not really going to notice the difference between 720p and 1080p.

Is this your tv? http://www.reevoo.com/reviews/mpn/samsung/le32r51bd

If so, it's not 1080p.
