Nice shot, though i agree with the above. My be cars queueing at the lights would add to it.

Fair comment, as you say each to their own and that's why photography is so interesting... I see where you are coming from but I would have gone B/W, maybe night time with a grainy, gritty feel to it to create more atmosphere, but that's just me!!

Sorry mate, but there is something missing here I do not think it is just about the lack of humans or animals.

I did think about B&W, but to be honest i had such a ball ache with the raw stuff i almost totally gave up on it. I actually lost the first set i took, late evening too

No worries mate :smashin: thanks for the comments.

Sorry, but the image doesn't really do anything for me.
It's a busy picture with not much going on - if you know what I mean.
However, looking at positives, there are loads of nice lines, great angles, and the shadow cast by the railings on the wall.

I like the idea of shooting all the infrastructure and like the lines but I find this sort of image looks best "dirty-ed" up and in b&w
Here's a couple of quickies:

It does give it a much more gritty feel to it, thanks :smashin:

This is almost a great photo. You have all of the ingredients of the background for the image you are just missing the focal point. Perhaps having a car blurred as it goes past would work here I reckon.
Sorry mudstuff but I've had to remove your pictures, only one picture allowed in any entry thread and that by the entrant!
Can see what you were aiming for here, but as said above, I think the sharp angles, shadows etc would have benefited from a mono conversion.

I'm kind of torn with this. On one hand I can see how some don't think it works, but then again I keep coming back to look again. It has something for sure.

It's a crisp photo for me - but sorry, i agree with some of the comments above... maybe a car blurring past to give a focal point or sense of action... a bit of story...
Cheers,
