Blu Ray Receiver - Add on to exisitng system?

Hi. I've a Panasonic SCPT-850 5.1 home theatre system and am very happy with it. I am looking to buy a Blu Ray player but I don't want another box on the shelf. Is it possible to buy a Panasonic Blu ray receiver and just replace it with the current one, fit the speaker cables etc into the new receiver and away you go?
If so, any that can be recommended?

just buy a ps3,if you want a decent blu-ray player.
as for adding a player to use your existing speakers,i would say no,and to either pony up,and buy a blu-ray all-in-one,or buy a new system,and a seperate player(as you never know if/when it will break),and if it does,the whole system goes.!
