Unhappy PSU Plug Spillage

Really sorry if this is in the wrong section but I spilt some diluteable robinsons on my plugs, I'm not talking spilling it on it directly I'm talking about accidently booting a drink and getting some drops of water on plugs, I don't really care about the plugs and I know the procedure for 4 in 1 plug expansions (wipe off and leave to air dry) but I got some on my sisters laptops PSU plug, I got some on the outside of the box (the bit that connects to the plug to receive power then goes into the laptop) but I didn't get anything on the pins, they were perfectly dry, I also got some on the plug head which is currently air drying and wiped. Does anyone have advice? I don't want to have to buy a new plug for my sis
I know this might not supposed to be in this section but where on earth else it would go I don't know and I'm on about the PSU so I should be alright

Re: PSU Plug Spillage

If there's nothing spilt internally or on any of the pins, you should be fine. I'd personally use a damp cloth to give it all a clean in case it's sticky as that has the potential to cause problems if it gets warm, turns back to liquid and seeps into the plug or laptop power block. Then as you say, I'd leave them to dry.
