Tvix 6500 - help please?
I have just received this. I have it set up and it recognises files on my network. When I select one and press play the box justs hangs and I have to reset it.

Any ideas please?

I'm using Netshare.

Don't use netshare... Samba is now quick enough to run anything so I have stopped using netshare completely.

Other than that it should work fine? What version of the software are you using (on the tvix) I would use either 1.2.46 or 1.2.52

Thanks for that. I have switched to samba and all is fine. I have just installed the lastest firmware.

On an unrelated point - is there any way to turn off the flashing light on the front?

Er not that I know off.. if you can it should be a setting in the setup screen. I only notice it flashing when I turn the tvix on...
